Minispares steel connecting rods are machined by Arrow Precision Eng from double air re-melted 817M40 forgings to X condition. Weight 445g per rod
The new X rod design maintains stiffness whilst reducing weight where it is not required. ARP 2000 5/16” bolts are fitted with Colsibro small end bushes.
An automated shot peening process increases their fatigue strength and durability. Finally the connecting rods are balanced end over end into matched sets and laser marked for identification before being crack detected prior to CMM inspection in a temperature controlled quality department. Visual checks are also carried out before being packed into protective boxes. Suitable for 8 port head fitment.
